Doubt on Moorestown

Jon Stokes of Ars Technica casts some skepticism on Intel’s Moorestown platform. I’d sustain a similar position as well. As of now, x86 processors do not hold much ground against ARM processors in terms of power consumption vs. performance. Moreover, MID, no matter how a complete Internet experience it declares that it can provide, is far from a package which can obtain a distinctive edge over other handheld devices such as smartphones, let alone offering robust performance across different functions akin to larger devices like netbooks. MID may end up in jeopardy both performance-wise and convenience-wise.
